If you are spending quality time with your family on your vacation and your phone starts ringing because of office emails and messages, then you are sure to be upset. To deal with this situation, an Indian tech company has come up with a new rule. So that the employees can spend their holidays in a better way. Whereas, such employees who disturb other employees on holiday will have to pay a heavy fine.

Actually, fantasy sports company Dream11 has come up with a new Dream 11 Unplug policy. Under this new rule, employees will be able to spend their holidays comfortably without any phone calls, mail or message. Under this new policy, employees can be completely cut off from work on their holidays for a week.

Announcing this policy on LinkedIn, the company has written that we want our employees to be disconnected from the office during their holidays in every possible way. We believe that spending quality time with your family or simply relaxing on a vacation can significantly improve overall mood, quality of life, and general productivity.

According to a CNBC report, the company’s founders Harsh Jain and Bhavit Seth have said that if an employee contacts another employee during the ‘unplugged’ time, he will have to pay a hefty fine of Rs 1 lakh. Everyone in the company will get unplugged time irrespective of their position, date of joining, and other factors. The founders have told the publication that the new policy has been introduced to ensure that the company is not dependent on any employee.
