Islamabad: Politics is continuously heating up in Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan has managed to save his chair and government. On the advice of Khan, President of Pakistan Arif Alvi dissolved the National Assembly on Sunday. Minutes before the assembly, Khan had advised the President to hold fresh elections. The elections will be held within 90 days. Till then Imran will remain the caretaker prime minister. Meanwhile, the first statement of PM Imran Khan has come out after his address to the country. He says that he has surprised the opposition.
My action surprised the opposition
Pakistan’s PM said that “My action surprised the opposition today. Had I disclosed about this surprise, they would not have been so upset today.”
Foreign conspiracy claim reiterated
Imran has again reiterated the claim of foreign conspiracy in his address after dissolving the National Assembly of Pakistan. He said that “Donald Lu is involved in the conspiracy to topple the Pak government.” Let us tell you that Donald Lu is Assistant Secretary in the South Central Asia Department of the US State Department.
It is to be known that for the first time, the Pakistani Prime Minister has named the conspirator to topple the government. Earlier, he kept mentioning only foreign powers. They kept saying that foreign forces were behind the conspiracy to topple his government.
Bilawal Bhutto’s attack on Imran
After the no-confidence motion was rejected, PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto attacked Imran Khan fiercely. He said that Imran Khan is a disciple of Zia-ul-Haq, not Bhutto. He said that Imran Khan sacrificed his constitution for power. Today Imran has bowed his head in shame for the whole of Pakistan.

Fawad Chaudhry, who was the Minister of Information and Broadcasting in the Imran Khan government, attacked the opposition and said, “Today’s speaker’s decision cannot be challenged in any court. I salute the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker. Why are you (the opposition) running away from elections? The faces of these people are hanging, we are happy. Why are you a victim of fear of being a political party? If the lion has children, then fight the election. Why are you running from elections? Our rule is gone and we are happy and the opposition is crying.”
