New Delhi: According to the news, the Government of India, taking a big decision, has now made a big announcement to give e-visa to Sikhs and Hindus living in Afghanistan. Along with this, it is reported that the Ministry of Home Affairs has so far given this visa to more than 100 people with immediate effect. In fact, the Modi government has taken this quick decision only after the terrorist attack on the Karte-Parwan Gurudwara in Kabul on Saturday.

Significantly, in the attack on the gurdwara, two Afghan civilians including the guard were killed. One of them was a Hindu. At the same time, a total of 7 people were also injured in this attack. Presently he is undergoing treatment in the hospital. On the other hand, Taliban security forces averted a major attack by preventing a vehicle loaded with explosives from reaching the gurdwara. In addition, all the attackers were also killed.

Let us tell you that before this, an e-Visa was also issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on August 15 last year during the occupation of Afghanistan by the Taliban. At the same time, at least 25 Sikhs were killed and 8 others were injured in a suicide attack on a Gurudwara in Kabul in March 2020. The attack was one of the deadliest attacks on the minority Sikh community in Afghanistan.
