These include BSNL properties located in Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Bhavnagar, and Kolkata, whose total value has been kept at Rs 800 crore. On the other hand, MTNL properties located at Vasari Hill in Goregaon, Mumbai have been listed for sale at a reserve price of around Rs 270 crore.
20 flats of MTNL in Oshiwara have also been put up for sale as part of the company’s asset monetization plan. The flats consist of two units of 1 room set, 17 units of 1 bedroom hall and kitchen (BHK) and one unit of 2 BHK. Their reserve price ranges from Rs 52.26 lakh to Rs 1.59 crore.

E-auction of properties will be held till December 14
The e-auction of MTNL properties will be held on December 14. The asset monetization is part of the Rs 69,000 crore revival plan for MTNL and BSNL that has been approved by the government. Let us tell you, the opposition is constantly attacking such an exercise of the government. There can also be a ruckus on the news of selling the properties of BSNL and MTNL. The central government has been accused of selling government properties and handing over the country to private hands.
