Puri: The famous Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri is opening on Monday after being closed for nearly four months. A day earlier, on Sunday, the police requested the devotees to share their experience of visiting the temple with the police.
Police sources said that devotees can fill up a form to tell the police service about their experiences at the temple. They can also give feedback through QR codes online.
Puri Police tweeted, “We request you to share your experiences with us so that the experience of visiting the temple can be made better and easier for the devotees.”
This 12th-century temple was closed to the public on 24 April due to the second wave of the Covid-19 global pandemic. Devotees will have to produce a full-fledged vaccination certificate or a COVID-19 test report confirming that they are not infected to enter the temple.
