Bhopal: Two days after a 13-year-old boy committed suicide after losing Rs 40,000 in an online game, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said on Monday that the state police has registered an FIR in this regard against the company making the said game. Have done.

Mishra said, “I have also sought advice from the officers of the Law Department on this and after getting their opinion, strict action will be taken by bringing such companies under the purview of the law.”

It is to be known that a Class VI student committed suicide by hanging himself in his house after he was scolded by his mother after losing Rs 40,000 in an online game in the Chhatarpur district of the state. He has written in the suicide note that he withdrew Rs 40,000 from his mother’s account and wasted this money in the game “Free Fire”. Apologizing to his mother, the student wrote that he was committing suicide due to depression.
Earlier, in January, a 12-year-old student studying in class IV in Dhana town of Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh was addicted to the game “Free Fire” and when his father snatched his mobile phone to break his addiction. When he was not given it again, he allegedly committed suicide by hanging.
