Patna: Veteran BJP leader and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi is now ready to beautify the Center. In the Rajya Sabha Election, he will be declared unopposed shortly after. Along with this, a special record will also be recorded in the name of Sushil Modi.
Sushil Modi is now going to become a member of Rajya Sabha after Vidhan Sabha, Lok Sabha and Vidhan Parishad. At the same time, in the history of Bihar BJP, former Deputy Chief Minister and this senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi will set a record of becoming a member of all four houses.
Today, i.e. on Monday December 2020 at 3 o’clock, Sushil Modi will be declared the winner of the unopposed by-election for the Rajya Sabha. Patna Divisional Commissioner and Rajya Sabha Election Officer Sanjay Agarwal will hand over the certificates to former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi. It is being informed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tarkeshwar Prasad and other MLAs and leaders including Renu Devi will also be present with him on this occasion.
Two more special faces of Bihar before Sushil Kumar Modi
Before Sushil Kumar Modi, there are two other special faces of Bihar who have set a record of being members of the four houses, they are RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and former Union Minister Nagmani. Who have been members of all four houses for years? It is noteworthy that the Rajya Sabha seat was vacated after the death of LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan. Independent candidate Shyam Nandan Prasad’s nomination paper was found to be technically invalid. Thus, Sushil Kumar Modi of BJP remained the only candidate for the Rajya Sabha by-election. Today i.e. December 7, the last date for the return of names is fixed till 3 p.m.
That is, today at 3 o’clock, Patna Divisional Commissioner and Rajya Sabha Election Officer Sanjay Agarwal will hand over the certificates to Sushil Kumar Modi.
