Sriganganagar: The miscreants who came with the intention of robbing at knifepoint entered the Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank located in the Jawahar Nagar police station area of Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan late on Saturday evening. However, the staff working in the bank, showing their courage, not only failed the robbery but also caught the accused. The arrested accused has been identified as 29-year-old Lavish alias Tissue. Tissue is a resident of the Dawda Colony of Sriganganagar. Tishche Arora had entered the bank late Saturday evening with the intention of robbing the bank and tried to take the bank employees hostage.
Meanwhile, when the tissue was snatching the mobiles of the bank employees, at the same time, the branch manager of the bank, Poonam Gupta, took out the scissors from the dryer and clashed with the miscreant and after that other bank employees also showed courage and caught the crook within a few seconds. CCTV footage of a failed attempt to rob the bank has surfaced, in which it can be seen that the miscreant had brought a bag and a big knife with him. At the same time, he had completely covered his face with a cloth.
As soon as he entered the bank, he threatened all the employees present there with a knife and asked them to gather in the lobby. During this, when he was snatching the mobile from the bank employees, the bank manager Poonam Gupta, showing courage and bravery, attacked the crook with the help of scissors. During this, the miscreant got upset and the bank employees together caught the miscreant. At present, the Sriganganagar police are engaged in interrogating the miscreant and his criminal history is being searched.
