In the New Year, in an interview with Artificial Intelligence researcher Lex Friedman, he gave important advice for students to read books, avoid being leaders and help others.
When Elon Musk was asked what advice he would give to the youth to do something big, he said that the youth should do such work which is useful, which will benefit others. Musk said that it is important for the youth to do such work which is useful for their peers, mankind, or the world. He called upon the people to give more to others than what they receive from the world.
General knowledge required
Elon Musk stressed the knowledge of common sense among the youth and said that it is important to keep an eye on what is happening around the world. Musk said that the more you talk to different types of people around the world, the more your mind will open in a wide way and you will think about working in the same way. Elon Musk said, talk to people around the world about people from different regions and their skills. Significantly, in a 2014 interview, Musk said that he looked for extraordinary potential in an employee with potential rather than a degree from a prestigious university.
High school is not necessary for success
Musk said that a university degree is not needed for success. Even high school education is not compulsory. Musk said that of course getting a degree from a prestigious university means that you have the ability to do great things, but it does not mean that others do not have this ability. If you look at people like Bill Gates or Larry Ellison, Steve Jobs, these people didn’t have degrees, but when you hire them then definitely it will prove to be a great idea for you.
