New Delhi: After breaking the deal to buy social media site Twitter, there has been a tweet war between the company and the world’s richest person Elon Musk. When Twitter threatened to see Musk in court, Musk made fun of the threat.

The interesting thing is that the war of words between the two is happening through the same company, whose deal has created all the controversy. Musk made fun of the company’s threats by sharing a laughing picture on his Twitter handle. He tweeted- ‘First he (Twitter) said that I cannot buy his company. Later he said that they cannot disclose the bot (fake account) and now they want to force me to buy twitter through the court, but now they have to disclose the bot in the court also.

Musk’s tweet has been retweeted nearly 10 lakh likes and 35 thousand times so far. While canceling the deal, Musk said that this decision has to be taken due to the violation of several conditions included in the agreement.

What is the whole controversy?
In fact, Musk canceled the deal last week, refusing to buy the microblogging site Twitter. Musk had made a $44 billion bid to buy Twitter at the beginning of the year, which was also approved by the company. However, Musk had asked for figures regarding fake accounts on the social site, on which the deal was canceled after not getting the correct information. According to the rules included in the deal, if Musk cancels the deal, he will have to pay a hefty amount as damages.

After the cancellation of the deal was announced, Twitter said that it would now sue Tesla CEO Elon Musk and demand the amount of the fine involved in the deal. Twitter has hired New York’s largest legal firm Wachel, Lipton, Rosen & Katz LLP to fight the legal battle against Elon Musk. Here, Musk seems unfazed by all this and has started making fun of Twitter’s legal threats.

Twitter could not provide bot account statistics
After the deal was finalized, Elon Musk repeatedly asked Twitter for information about the bot accounts on his site, ie fake accounts. On this, the company said that out of the total accounts, about 5 percent are bot accounts. However, the Tesla CEO repeatedly claimed that the number of bot accounts was much higher, which the company also repeatedly denied. Despite this, Twitter was never able to present evidence about the actual number of bot accounts. It was said on behalf of Musk that it is important to have this information from the business point of view. It is believed that due to this deficiency, this deal has been canceled.
