New Delhi: A horrific road accident has occurred in Kanpur Bus Accident, Uttar Pradesh. Six people have lost their lives in this accident. While many people have been injured. According to reports, an uncontrolled electric bus at Tatmil crossroads under Babupurwa police station rammed several passers-by and drivers, breaking the traffic booth. Six people have died in this accident that took place on Sunday night. President Ram Nath Kovind has also expressed grief over this accident.
It is to be known that the President of the country, Ram Nath Kovind, tweeted and wrote that the news of many casualties in the bus accident in Kanpur is deeply saddened. My deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this incident. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.
On the other hand, East Kanpur DCP Pramod Kumar said that a bus going from Ghantaghar of Kanpur towards Tatmil intersection met with an accident. He said that as soon as the information was received, police and ambulance were sent to the spot. It has been reported that 5-6 people died in the accident. The search and relief work for the bus driver is on.
It is noteworthy that in this incident two persons died on the spot. While four people who were injured died on the way to the hospital. The bus driver has fled from the spot after the incident. Police have admitted other injured to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital in Kanpur.
