Jakarta: The volcano erupted in Mount Sinabung on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia, with a huge ash fog covering a distance of 5 km (3.1 mi) on Monday. It is being told that the ash has reached 30 km. The eruption of Mount Sinabung comes after more than a year of inactivity and was the second time since Saturday that the volcano erupted after which authorities have warned residents and tourists about possible lava flows.
Videos of the volcano erupting after the internet showed dense ash clouds from the peak of a 2,460-meter mountain in Karo in North Sumatra. According to the news, residents have been advised to stay outside the 3 km radius of the volcano and wear masks to reduce the impact of volcanic ash. No loss of any inner body has been reported in this incident.
