
Washington: Many areas of America have been hit by a severe tornados. In this, at least 50 people are reported to have died in Kentucky, America alone. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said at least 50 people are expected to die after a devastating tornado tornadoes hit Kentucky and other US states late Friday and early Saturday.
An Arkansas nursing home and an Amazon warehouse in southern Illinois were hit by a tornado Friday night, killing one person and injuring several others. Three people died in Tennessee due to bad weather. Some people are reported to have been injured when the roof of an Amazon warehouse collapsed due to the storm. One death was reported in Missouri due to the severe tornado.
In Tennessee, two deaths were reported from the storm in Lake County, in the state’s northwest region, while one person was reported in neighboring Obian County, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency spokesman Dean Fleiner said. Fleiner said the Tennessee Department of Health had confirmed the deaths, although no other details were immediately released.
The official previously reported two deaths in Obion County. Craighead County Judge Marvin Day told CAT-TV that at least five other people were injured and 20 trapped after a tornado hit the Monet Manor area in northern Arkansas. The TV channel reported that disaster rescuers from Truman and police and firefighters from Jonesboro arrived in the area to help. The nursing home has about 90 beds. Footage from St. Louis TV channels showed several emergency vehicles at the Amazon center near Edwardsville, Illinois. It’s not clear how many people were injured, but the emergency management agency of Collinsville, Illinois, called it a “massive casualty” on Facebook.

An official told KTVI-TV that more than 100 people working night shifts are feared to be inside the building when it collapsed. The roof collapsed when a strong thunderstorm, and possibly a tornado, passed through the St. Louis area. Winds of up to 70 mph are reported in parts of St. Charles and St. Louis counties in Missouri. At least three residents of St. Charles County were hospitalized and several houses were damaged in the area near Augusta, Missouri.
