Let us tell you that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal can inaugurate the first smog tower in the country’s capital Delhi on August 23 at Connaught Place. Actually, the construction of the smog tower has been completed but it will be inaugurated on 23rd August instead of 15th August.
These towers are being set up to improve the air quality within a radius of one km. This tower is about 20 meters high. The construction of this tower was earlier to be done by June 15. Environment Minister Gopal Ray said that the construction work has been delayed due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Delhi government officials have been informed about the inauguration of the Smog Tower.

1000 cubic meters of air per second will be clean
Let us tell you that in fact, the Delhi Cabinet had approved its construction in October last year. The tower will be 20 meters high and will improve the air quality within a radius of one kilometer. Its construction work was slowed down due to the Corona epidemic. Because of which its work was not completed in June but was completed in August.
