New Delhi: After the decision of the Supreme Court, the Kejriwal government has come into action. Delhi Services Secretary Ashish More was removed. Services Department Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has taken this action. In place of Ashish More, 1995 batch IAS officer Anil Kumar Singh has been made the new secretary in his place. Prior to this, he has been the CEO of Jal Board. Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, while giving a press conference, had talked about a major administrative reshuffle in Delhi in the coming days.

Expressing happiness over the decision of the Supreme Court, he has called it a victory of democracy. Along with this, Kejriwal said that in the coming days, a big administrative reshuffle will be seen in Delhi. Earlier, the Supreme Court gave a unanimous verdict on Thursday and said that the Delhi government has legislative and executive powers in relation to services. The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the Delhi government on the dispute regarding the right of transfer-posting of officers in Delhi. The Supreme Court said that the posting and transfer of officers will be with the Delhi government.

Delhi CM Kejriwal said that earlier the Central Government passed an order in which all the decisions related to the transfer and job of all the officers working in Delhi will not remain with the Delhi Government. That is, if someone is taking bribes then we cannot even suspend them. Using this order, the works in Delhi were forcibly stopped.

The order of the Supreme Court that has come today is the result of the cooperation of the people of Delhi. Now we have to give responsive administration to the people of Delhi. There will be a major administrative reshuffle in Delhi in the next few days. There are some officers who stopped the work of the public in the last one and a half years, such employees will be marked and they will have to bear the fruits of their deeds.
