Mumbai: On Saturday, NCB made lengthy inquiries with actress Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor. The NCB has said that now they will investigate the facts and decide the direction of further investigation. According to sources, all three actresses have refused to take drugs in front of NCB.
The statements of Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor have been recorded in the narcotics case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Shraddha and Sara were questioned at the NCB’s regional office at Ballard Estate in South Mumbai.
Deepika was questioned for about 5:30 hours
Actress Deepika Padukone was interrogated in the guest house of NCB and she too reached her home after recording her statement. According to reports, Deepika shifted from her house to the hotel on Friday night and from there she reached the NCB office at around 10 am. Deepika was questioned for about 5:30 hours. Meanwhile, his manager Karishma Prakash was also questioned. According to sources, Deepika and Karishma were also questioned face to face. Deepika was also questioned about the WhatsApp group in which the drugs were discussed. Deepika was the administrator of this group.
6 hours of interrogation with Shraddha, questions and answers from Sara for 4 and a half hours
NCB officials said that Shraddha Kapoor came to record statement at around 12 noon while Sara reached the regional office of NCB about an hour after that. He said that Sara’s statement was recorded for about four and a half hours and she left the NCB office at around 5.30 pm. The officer said that Shraddha left the office at around 5.55 am after six hours of questioning. Both actresses worked in films with Rajput.
Sushant was seen taking drugs – Shraddha
According to reports, NCB questioned Shraddha Kapoor and quizzed her about Sushant’s film Chhichhore. During interrogation, Shraddha Kapoor said that she had seen Sushant taking drugs in a vanity van during the shooting of the film ‘Chhichhore’. According to sources, Shraddha has spoken of visiting Sushant’s farm house for the film’s success party. Let me tell you, NCB has come to know that drugs were used in this party. However, Shraddha denied the use of drugs herself during the NCB inquiry.
Sara was in a relationship with Sushant
As reported by ABP News, Sara Ali Khan has admitted in the NCB inquiry that in 2018 he and Sushant were in a relationship. According to the actress, the affair of the two started during the shooting of the film ‘Kedarnath’ which ended after some time.
Mumbai Police said the car will be seized if chased
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-1) Sangramsinh Nishandar requested the media persons not to chase the vehicles of the artists appearing before the NCB as it threatened the lives of them and others on the road.
