Berlin / Washington: There is a cyber attack on the data center of German company BioNTech and US pharmaceutical company Pfizer. The company has reported that files related to the coronavirus vaccine (COVID-19 Vaccine) have been illegally accessed in this cyber attack. The companies issued a statement that the data of the joint research related to the vaccine was present on the server of the European Medicine Agency and it has been cyber-attacked.
It has been said in the statement that during this cyber attack ‘files related to the vaccine illegally’ have been accessed. Amsterdam’s agency has filed an appeal with the European Union’s Medicines Regulator (EMA) for the use of its coronavirus vaccine. The company said on Wednesday that there has been a cyberattack on its vaccine. The EMA refused to give information about the attack and investigations into the case are on. The two companies later issued a statement stating that some documents related to Store Pfizer and Biontech’s Corona vaccine, BNT 162B2, on the EMA server have been illegally accessed. He said that there was no break in any system connected to Biontech or Pfizer in relation to the incident. He has also said that no information has been received as to whether the people involved in our study have been identified as a result of access to the data, but he was the target.

Data on people who were tried was stolen
Companies said that at this time we are waiting for more information regarding the investigation of EMA. Will respond to it appropriately and in accordance with EU law. The EMA has assured us that the deadline for review of cyber attacks will not be affected. The vaccine, made by Pfizer and Biontech, received approval for emergency use in Britain and Wednesday in Canada last week. The US FDA is expected to consider submission for approval on Thursday. This is not the first time a cyber attack has occurred on the data of the Coronavirus vaccine. Last month, Microsoft said it has detected attempts by Russian and North Korean hackers to steal valuable data from major pharmaceutical companies and vaccine researchers.
Rich countries have bought the vaccine
Meanwhile, Amnesty International and other organizations say that rich countries have bought corona vaccine more than three times the total population to protect their population by the end of the year 2021. It is expected that millions of people in poor areas will be deprived of the vaccine. Britain has approved Pfizer’s vaccine this month. They hope that people will get relief from this global epidemic. However, Amnesty, Frontline AIDS, Global Justice Boat, Oxfam, and other organizations have urged governments and pharmaceutical industries to ensure the sharing of vaccines’ intellectual property widely. The World Health Organization (WHO) has also called on governments this year that the vaccine is in the public interest.
The WHO has appealed for the proportional distribution of the Covid vaccine under a global vaccine program called Covacs. Under this program, it is to ensure the giving of 189 countries involved, but countries like America have not joined this program. The United States and some other countries have entered into only bilateral agreements regarding the corona vaccine. Kovacs believes that by the end of 2021, he will be able to provide the vaccine to two billion people.
