At the same time, the increasing cases of new Omicron variants of Corona are also increasing the concern of the government and health experts. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, 22 thousand 775 new corona patients have appeared on the last day i.e. on Saturday. At the same time, 406 patients died while 8 thousand 949 patients have recovered and returned home. Like corona infection, its new variant is also spreading rapidly in Maharashtra. Along with this, cases of corona are increasing rapidly in Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, Jharkhand as well as in South India. At the same time, there are now 1 lakh 4 thousand 781 active patients of Corona across the country.
If we talk about the new variants of Corona, then the number of patients of Omicron has crossed 1400 across the country, out of which Maharashtra has the highest number of 460 patients.
Cases increasing in South India too
At the same time, 1470 new patients of Corona have appeared in Tamil Nadu today. In Karnataka too, after a long time, the cases of corona have again crossed 1000. 810 new patients have appeared in Bangalore. At the same time, the situation has started deteriorating in Goa too, where the infection rate has reached 6.25%. If we talk about the cases of the corona, then in 24 hours 310 cases have been reported in Goa.
The positivity rate reached 12 percent in West Bengal
According to the data, corona cases are increasing rapidly in West Bengal as well. 2398 cases of Covid have been reported in Kolkata today. On the other hand, if we talk about the whole of Bengal, today 4512 cases have been registered here. With this, the positivity rate of corona in the state has also reached 12 percent.
With the rising corona cases once again in the country, 6,347 cases of the corona were found in Mumbai on Saturday. At the same time, 2,716 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi, 2,398 in Kolkata. Along with this, the Omicron variant of Corona is also spreading rapidly in the country. Meanwhile, the Florina infection found in Israel is also troubling people. In such a situation, health experts are advising people to be careful and strictly follow the corona rules and take the corona vaccine.
