Washington: John Ratcliffe, the outgoing Director of National Intelligence of the United States, has said that since World War II, China has been the largest ever for the United States and the rest of the Independent Countries. There is a big danger. Ratcliffe’s statement came on Thursday as President Donald Trump’s administration is making anti-China statements on newly elected President Joe Biden in a bid to take a tougher stance against Beijing.
In a column published in The Wall Street Journal on Thursday, Ratcliffe wrote, “The intelligence service is clear that Beijing intends to dominate the United States and the rest of the world economically, militarily and technologically.”

He said that many big initiatives of China and many big companies are just a pseudo form of activities of the Communist Party of China and he termed such behavior as spying and robbery. He said China stole the intellectual property of US companies, replicated their technology and then replaced US companies in the global market.
Trump administration officials have been speaking out against China for months, and especially during the presidential election, President Donald Trump has repeatedly blamed China for spreading the corona virus. That Biden could soften in the case of China. Newly elected President Biden agrees that China is not following international trade rules.
