Dehradun: The revered Chardham Yatra, a spiritual expedition to the Himalayan shrines, is set to commence on the 10th of May. Devotees will be welcomed at the sacred portals of Yamunotri, Gangotri, and Kedarnath Dham on this auspicious date, while the journey to Badrinath Dham will begin on the 12th of May.

The temple committee has confirmed that the preparations for the Yatra are nearly complete, ensuring a serene and safe pilgrimage. In an unprecedented move, VIPs and VVIPs have been kindly requested to refrain from visiting the shrines until the 25th of May to facilitate a smooth start to the Yatra.
