- BoB will change the payment method
Bank of Baroda is going to change the mode of payment for customers from June 1, 2021. To avoid being a victim of fraud, the bank has made Positive Pay Confirmation mandatory for customers. BoB officials say that customers will have to reconcile check details under the positive pay system only when they issue bank checks of Rs 2 lakh or more. - Gas-cylinder rates will change
It is also possible to change the rate of LPG, ie LPG cylinder, from 1 June. Usually, every month oil companies release new prices of LPG cylinders. Many times, changes are also seen 2 times a month. At present, the price of a 14.2 KG LPG cylinder is Rs 809 in Delhi. In addition to 14.2 KG cylinders, it is possible to change the price of 19 KG cylinders as well. However, new prices are not required to be released only on 1 June. Sometimes the rates remain the same. - The income tax website will remain closed
The E-filing portal of the Income Tax Department will not work from June 1 to 6. On June 7, the Income Tax Department will launch a new income tax e-filing portal for taxpayers. According to the Directorate of Income Tax, the official website for filing ITR will change from June 7, 2021. From June 7, it will become http://incometax.gov.in. Right now it is http://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
- PF has to be linked with Aadhar
The EPFO has instructed that from June 1, if an account is not linked with Aadhaar or is not UNS Aadhaar verified, then its electronic challan cum return will not be filed. In such a situation, the share received by the employer from the PF account holders can also be stopped, so in time, you should link your PF account with Aadhaar. - There will be a change in the Small Savings Scheme
Changes in the interest rates of Small Saving Schemes like PPF, NSC, KVP, and Sukanya Samriddhi are also to be done this month. New interest rates of Small Savings Schemes are applied by the government every three months. - Google will have to pay for storage
Google will not be able to upload unlimited photos from June 1 onwards. According to Google, 15GB of space will be given to every Gmail user. This space includes emails and photos. Apart from this Google Drive is also included. If you want to use more than 15GB of space, then you have to pay for it. Till now unlimited storage was free.
