New Delhi: CBSE has decided to remove the three streams of Class XI, Commerce, Science, and Arts. Now students can study 11th with a combination of their favorite subjects. That is, in 11th, the student can choose mathematics along with history if he wants. In fact, CBSE has made these changes under the new National Education Policy.
Explain that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had canceled the 10th and 12th board exams in view of increasing cases of corona infection. In this connection, the board had announced the new marking system on May 1 and also made several changes related to admission in XI.
In fact, the board wants to avoid the stream system in school 11th and allow students to choose the subject of their choice. After the new decision, now those students will also be able to take Maths in 11th, who took Standard Maths in 10th. At the same time if the student has failed in any subject of 10th then he can do 11th class till giving compartmental exam.
