CBI raids on the bases of Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivkumar

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team on Monday raided several locations of Congress Chief DK Shivakumar of Karnataka. In a case of corruption, the CBI is raiding DK Shivakumar’s locations in Karnataka and Mumbai. It is being told that CBI teams are raiding 15 buildings associated with DK Shivkumar and his brother MP DK Suresh in Bengaluru. These include raids on their old houses located in Dodalahalli, Kanakpura, and Sadashiv Nagar.

According to the information, a money laundering case was being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate on the basis of allegations of tax evasion in the Income Tax Department. During this time, the ED got some important information. The ED gave this information to the CBI. It is believed that the CBI is conducting this raid in this case.

According to the information, the raids are being conducted by the CBI on the buildings connected with DK Shivkumar and his brother DK Suresh from 6 am on Monday. Besides both, raids are also going on at the bases of Iqbal Hussain.

At the same time, the process of raiding DK Shivkumar’s hideouts started on Monday morning, former Karnataka Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah termed the politics of revenge. He has accused the BJP of doing revenge politics.

Siddaramaiah tweeted, ‘BJP has always been trying to do politics of revenge and mislead people. The CBI raid at DK Shivakumar’s house is being done to impose our preparations for the by-elections. I strongly condemn this.
