New Delhi: The third and final match of the T20 series (IND vs NZ Kolkata T20) is being played between India and New Zealand in Kolkata. In this match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and batted first. Rohit along with his new partner Ishan Kishan had expressed his intentions by hitting two consecutive fours against Trent Boult in the very first over of the match. After this, he rained the boundary.

Rohit Sharma completed his half-century with a four in the 11th over of the Indian innings. With this fifty, Rohit broke Virat Kohli’s record of highest 50 plus score in international T20. Virat has scored 50 or more runs 29 times in T20. Whereas Rohit did this for the 30th time in Kolkata. In this list, Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam is at number three. He has scored 50 plus 25 times in T20. It is followed by David Warner (22) and Martin Guptill (21).

In the Kolkata T20, Rohit also completed 150 sixes in the International T20. He needed 3 sixes to achieve this feat. In the third T20, he hit 3 sixes and 5 fours in his innings of 56 off 31 balls. That is, Rohit got 38 runs from the boundary.
