The awardees include Myanmar leader Foi Foi Ung, human rights activist Wang Yue, Muskan Khatoon from Nepal, Ranita Gananaraja, a lawyer from Sri Lanka. Awards will also be given to women from other countries on 8 March. Blinken will also give an IWOC honorary award to a group of seven Afghan women. These Afghan women were murdered in 2020.
