Mumbai: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is in discussions about his next film Laxmii. First about his look and then about the controversy surrounding the film. The first name of this film was Laxmii Bom but after protests the name of the film has been changed to Laxmii. The makers of the film have said that they do not want to hurt anyone’s religious feelings and now the makers are releasing the film on November 9.
Earlier on Friday, a new poster of the film came out in which the duo of Kiara Advani and Akshay are looking excited. The film will be available to viewers on Disney Plus, Hotstar from November 9. It is the first film to feature a Bollywood superstar and is being premiered live on the OTT platform. Akshay Kumar himself has shared the post from his Twitter handle and informed about the new post release. Akshay tweeted that, “Now Laxmii will come to every house. Get ready with the family on November 9.”
But now the news is also coming that the film Lakshmi is also being released in theaters. But this is disappointing for Akshay’s Indian fans, as the film will be released in only a few theaters abroad. It will not be screened in cinemas in India.
It is believed that this film of Akshay Kumar is based on Kanchana film from the South. People liked this film a lot which was also dubbed in Hindi.
