Rudraprayag: A government official died in Kedarnath after being hit by a helicopter fan on Sunday. Giving information about this, the Police Disaster Management Officer of Rudraprayag Nandan Singh Rajwar said that Crystal Aviation’s helicopter had come to Dham for pilot training. Meanwhile, during the helipad landing, a person got down from the back door and went behind the helicopter. Due to this the person’s neck was cut by the fan of the helicopter. He told that Saini suffered serious neck injuries in the accident due to which he died.
Saini (35) was working as a finance controller in the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (Yukada), an agency belonging to the state government’s aviation department, and was part of the team that reached the spot to inspect the arrangements related to helicopter services before the start of the Kedarnath Yatra. Rudraprayag’s District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar said that the accident happened around 2.15 pm with Crystal Aviation’s helicopter and at that time the team was about to return after inspecting Kedarnath.
