Mumbai: A Navy officer named Suraj Kumar Mithlesh Dubey (27) from Jharkhand was kidnapped by 3 unidentified people at Gholvad Police Station in Palghar District. A burning sensation case has come to light. On Friday, this officer died in Mumbai Navy Hospital while undergoing treatment.
Gholvad police have registered a case against unknown people and have started investigating this case. According to the information received, Dubey was posted in Chennai.
Death in Mumbai Navy Hospital during treatment
Police said that some people of Waveji village of Gholvad on Friday informed the police that a burnt person was lying near Waveji village and he was alive. On receiving the information, Gholvad police immediately reached the spot of the incident and got him admitted to Dahanu Cortez Hospital for treatment. Seeing his worrisome condition, he was sent to the Naval Hospital in Mumbai for treatment where he died during treatment. According to the police, Suraj Mithlesh Dubey hails from Jharkhand. On 30 January, 3 unknown people kidnapped him for 10 lakh rupees and brought him to Palghar and burned him.
