New Delhi: India’s star wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has become the second most expensive Indian player after Yuvraj Singh in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). At the same time, on the first day of IPL Mega Auction 2022, a total of 10 players were bought for an amount of ten crore rupees or more. Mumbai Indians bought Ishaan again from Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 15 crore 25 lakh after a long competition. Teams also showed interest in fast bowlers, while uncapped (who have not played international matches) players were also heavily bid.
