New Delhi: Monsoon Session of Parliament has started from today in the midst of the Corona Virus crisis. On the first day of the session, 30 MPs have been found infected with Corona. The MPs who were found to be infected include BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi, Parvesh Verma, Anant Hegde, Hanuman Beniwal, Hanuman Beniwal, Jamyang Tshering Namgyal.
Of the total 30 MPs found positive, 15 belong to the Bhartiya Janta Party. At the same time, YRS Congress (YSR Congress) and Shiv Sena (Shivsena) 2-2, DMK, RLP have one MP each. 12 Lok Sabha (Loksabha) and 8 Rajya Sabha MPs have been infected with Corona.
More than 50 parliament employees also infected
According to the ongoing news in the media, 50 parliamentarians of MPs have also been found infected with the corona virus. Be aware that in view of the increasing infection of the corona virus, it is mandatory for all MPs and employees of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to undergo corona examination before entering. All MPs and employees found infected have been asked to quarantine themselves at home.
400 MPs participated in Lok Sabha
On the presence of the MPs, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said, “Around 400 MPs (in the Lok Sabha) were present during the session today. Eight bills were introduced and two bills were passed. “
