Beijing: A coal mine in the Northwest China region of China trapped 21 miners from flooding. The Xinhua Dialogue Committee reported that the mine located in Hutubi County of Xinjiang area was flooded at around 6.10 pm on Saturday evening, leaving miners working there trapped.

Rescuers are trying to rescue these miners and eight people have been rescued. The incidents of explosions and gas leaks are also frequent due to a lack of safety in China’s mines.
