Shahjahanpur: The 150-year-old Hanuman temple in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, is being shifted from the National Highway with the help of a jack. The work of shifting the temple is going on for three months. So far the 16 feet high Hanuman temple has been successfully retrofitted. Tilhar SDM Rashi Krishna has given this information.

Let us tell you that initially there was a dispute regarding the removal of the 150-year-old Hanuman temple on the National Highway of Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The exercise to remove the famous 150-year-old Hanuman temple built midway on National Highway 24 in Shahjahanpur started about three months ago. Which was strongly opposed by the local people.

At present, the district administration is working to shift the temple to another place through machines. At present, the process of shifting the temple is going on continuously. After much protest, finally, this work is going on continuously.

Let us tell you that there is a famous Hanuman temple in Kachhiyana Kheda on National Highway 24 of the Thana Tilhar area, which is about 150 years old. After four-laning the National Highway, this temple came in the middle of the way. Five years ago, when the process of removing this temple was started, the work of removing the temple was stopped after protests by Hindu organizations. But now the district administration and NHAI officials have decided to remove the temple from the National Highway.
