A total of 11 lakh lamps will be lit. It was the wish of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan that the city should be illuminated on Shivratri.

All these works are being done to promote tourism and keep in mind the faith of the devotees towards the city of Mahakal. Preparations are in full swing to celebrate the festival of Deepotsav. According to Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the special importance of Ujjain has been told in the origin of the universe. Therefore, there is also a plan to celebrate the birth festival of Ujjain on the Vikram festival Gudi Padwa. 1 volunteer and 100 lamps

One volunteer will be given the responsibility of 100 lamps. 10 thousand volunteers are needed for 11 lakh lamps. The work is challenging because the availability of oil and lamp will have to be made. If any organization wants to participate in this, then all of them are welcome. An appeal will be made to the general public to put 5 lamps in their homes and keep the lights off.
