New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday said that the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for individual candidates will be conducted from August 16 to September 15.
The board refused to declare the results of individual candidates on the basis of the alternative evaluation policy for regular students, saying that neither the schools nor the CBSE have any previous evaluation record for these students.
CBSE’s controller of examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj said, “The examinations will be conducted from August 16 to September 15 and their result will also be declared in the earliest possible time so that they do not face any difficulty in admission to higher education.”

Earlier in the day, a group of individual candidates staged a protest outside the CBSE headquarters alleging disparity between them and regular students.
