New Delhi: Saurabh Kumar, the co-founder of the online grocery company Grofers, has left the company. The company’s second co-founder and CEO Albinder Dhindsa have given this information by tweeting. The special thing is that Saurav Kumar decided to leave the company at a time when online food delivery firm Zomato is in talks to buy a stake in it.

Albinder Dhindsa said that Saurav Kumar was preparing to invest in his personal evolution for the last 6 months so that he could establish himself as a designer, enabler and coach from the growth driver. Albinder Dhindsa praised Saurav Kumar a lot in his post.

Zomato set to acquire Grofers
According to media reports, Zomato will either buy a minority stake in the company by investing $100 million in Grofers or is in the process of acquiring Grofers completely. Grofers, along with Tata Group-owned BigBasket, is the only major player in the online grocery market.
