Korba (CG): AL Khare, a security inspector working at the SECL Central Store, arrived at the office on Sunday morning. After registering the present, he took out a file and placed it on the table, and sat on the chair. As he opened the cover of the file and screamed loudly. Actually, a black snake (cobra) was hiding around the papers tied in the file. The reaction of fear was such that in one stroke he jumped off the chair and got away. After this, Sarpamitra Avinash was informed, who along with his team reached the spot and rescued the cobra in the forest.

On Sunday, at 12 noon in the SECL Central Store, the snakes of the Reptile Care and Rescue Society (RCRS) team rescued the cobra, popularly called Nag in the local language. On receiving the information from the president of the organization Avinash Yadav, team members Gaurav, Nikesh and Asif reached the spot immediately and rescued the snake with full caution. On reaching the spot, when the snake was seen, it got entangled in a file book. At such a time, care should be taken not to touch any snake, as there may be a risk of snake bite. The snakemitters who reached the spot rescued the snake and left it in the forest.

He said that RCRS is a social organization, which is trying to conserve snakes and other animals and develop friendly behavior among them.
