Mumbai: There was a lot of uproar in the Vistara airline going from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai. Police arrested an Italian woman, Paola Perucchio after she created a ruckus on the Abu Dhabi-Mumbai flight. She was reportedly insisting on being seated in business class despite having an economy ticket. The lady passenger assaulted a member of the cabin crew. Amidst the commotion, she took off her clothes and began pacing up and down the aisle partially naked.
After the shameful act of urinating in flight, now another such case has come to the fore. The Mumbai Police arrested the woman in connection with the ruckus on the flight and assaulting the crew member. However, the woman has been released on bail. Along with this, a fine of Rs 25 thousand has also been imposed on the woman.
As per media reports, the woman was traveling on a Vistara airline flight (UK 256) from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai. When the drunk woman got up from her seat and started sitting on the business class seat, the crew members objected to it and asked her to get up from the seat. On this, the woman got angry and punched the crew member in the face. At the same time, when the other crew member tried to stop the woman, the woman also spits on him. The woman did not stop there, she took off her clothes and started roaming around on the flight while abusing.
In a statement issued by Vistara’s spokesperson, it has been said that as per the SOP, the information about the incident has been given to the concerned authorities. Vistara stands firm with its zero-tolerance policy against unruly behavior that threatens the safety, security, and dignity of its customers and employees.
