New Delhi: German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz has introduced its most affordable electric SUV, the Mercedes-Benz EQA, to the Indian market, priced at Rs 66 lakh (ex-showroom). This single, fully-loaded variant, the EQA 250+ SUV, is set to rival competitors such as the BMW iX1, Volvo XC40 Recharge, Volvo C40 Recharge, Kia EV6, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.

The EQA 250+ boasts a 70.5kWh battery pack, promising an impressive range of 560 km on a single charge. This front-wheel-drive vehicle features an electric motor mounted on the front axle, delivering 188bhp and 385Nm of torque, ensuring robust performance and efficiency.
Charging Options and Efficiency
Equipped with an 11kW AC charger, the EQA 250+ can fully charge its battery from 0 to 100 percent in 7 hours and 15 minutes. For quicker charging, it supports a 100kW DC fast charger, capable of charging the battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 35 minutes, making it a convenient option for daily and long-distance driving.

The EQA 250+ is designed to deliver a seamless driving experience. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and achieves a top speed of 160 km/h. Drivers can choose from four driving modes: Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Individual, allowing for a personalized driving experience.
