VVS Laxman to be an interim head coach
“VVS Laxman (Head Cricket NCA) will be the interim head coach for Team India (Senior Men) for the upcoming ACC Asia Cup 2022 to be played in the UAE,” the BCCI issued an official statement.
It also added, “Laxman, who traveled with the Indian team playing ODI series in Zimbabwe. Rahul will oversee the team’s preparations in the absence of Dravid, who tested positive for COVID-19 before the team went to the UAE. Dravid will join the squad once he tests negative and will be cleared by the BCCI medical team.
Rahul Dravid turns corona positive
Before the start of the Asia Cup, Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid became infected with Covid-19. Rahul Dravid’s corona infection can be very harmful to Team India’s preparations for the Asia Cup.
