Washington: America has warned Russia to bear the consequences if it takes aggressive action in eastern Ukraine and the Biden Administration is reviewing its policy against Russia in this regard. During the daily briefing, White House press secretary Jane Saki said that the US is discussing and working with its region’s partners and allies on the matter of Russian troops moving towards Ukraine’s borders.
“It may have to bear the consequences,” Saki said on Friday. Some of these will be direct and some will be indirect. More information about this will be given soon. ” He said, “As we know it is a case related to Russia’s aggressive action in eastern Ukraine. Russia’s troops are moving towards Ukraine’s borders. We are working with our partners and allies in the area in consultation with them to take stock of the situation and take further action. ”
Ukraine last week accused Russia of sending thousands of military personnel to its northern and eastern borders and towards the Crimea Peninsula. Meanwhile, media reports suggest that the Biden administration has completed a security review on Russia and is planning new actions against it.
