Urfi Javed booked

Mumbai: Urfi Javed, a social media influencer, has landed in legal trouble for allegedly defaming Mumbai Police by posting a video on social media, in which she claimed that she was arrested for wearing short clothes in a public place. However, the video was a publicity stunt, scripted by Urfi herself, and the police officer who arrested her was a fake.

The video, which went viral on social media, showed Urfi wearing a crop top and shorts, being stopped by a man in police uniform, who accused her of obscenity and took her to a police van. Urfi protested and pleaded with the man, saying she had the right to wear whatever she wanted. The video ended with Urfi being taken away by the police.

However, the Mumbai Police soon exposed the video as a hoax and registered a case against Urfi and four other people who were involved in the stunt. The police said that the man who posed as a police officer was not a real cop, and the uniform and insignia he wore were misused. The police also seized the vehicle that was used in the video.

Mumbai Police issued a statement on social media, saying that no one can violate the country’s law for cheap publicity. The statement read, “Viral video of Mumbai Police allegedly arresting a woman in obscenity case is not true. The logo and uniform have been misused. A criminal case under sections 171, 419, 500, and 34 IPC has been registered at Oshiwara Police Station against the people involved in the misleading video. Further investigation is underway, the fake inspector has been arrested and the vehicle has also been seized.”
