New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the much-awaited final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) for the year 2023. Aspiring candidates can now access their results by visiting the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
Emerging at the top of the list is Aditya Srivastava, who has achieved the prestigious All India Rank (AIR) 1, followed by Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy securing the second and third positions, respectively. P K Siddharth Ramkumar and Ruhani have claimed the fourth and fifth ranks. The list continues with Srishti Dabas at sixth, Anmol Rathod at seventh, Ashish Kumar at eighth, Nausheen at ninth, and Aishwaryam Prajapati rounding out the top ten.
This year’s examination process has recommended the appointment of 1016 candidates to fill a total of 1143 vacancies across various prestigious services including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS). The distribution of these appointments includes 347 general category candidates, 115 from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 303 Other Backward Classes (OBC), 165 Scheduled Castes (SC), and 86 Scheduled Tribes (ST). It is noted that the results of 355 candidates remain provisional at this stage.

The final marks for the UPSC CSE 2023 will be made available 15 days following the result announcement. The interview phase of the examination concluded on April 9, having commenced on January 2. A total of 2846 candidates, who successfully cleared the main examination, were called for the interview. The CSE 2023 announced vacancies for 180 IAS, 200 IPS, and 37 IFS posts.
