New Delhi: According to the big news received from Pakistan, now the UNSC declared Abdul Rahman Makki a Global Terrorist on Monday. Along with this, it has been added to its ban list. Inform that all the movable and immovable properties of the person or organization to be added to this list are frozen. He doesn’t even have any permission from any parker to travel.
What did UNSC say
In this regard, the UNSC said in a statement that, on 16 January 2023, the Security Council Committee on ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaeda, and Related Individuals, Groups, Undertakings, and Entities adopted resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253. (2015) it is now approved. Under the policy set out and adopted in paragraph 1 of UNSC Resolution 2610 (2021), their assets will be frozen, and travel restrictions and arms embargoes will also be imposed on Makki.
China was the obstacle
It should be known that till now China had been obstructing this proposal. Makki is originally a Pakistani citizen and is also a close relative of Lashkar leader Hafiz Saeed. In June last year too, India and the US made a joint proposal to declare the top Pakistani Lashkar terrorist as a global terrorist, which was blocked by China. It is believed that now for the first time, China has taken any concrete step against Pakistan-backed terrorism.
India-America has already told him a terrorist
However, long before this, India and the US have already listed Makki as a terrorist under their domestic laws. He has been prominently involved in recruiting and radicalizing youth to raise funds, and recruit and plan attacks in India, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.
