Lev (Ukraine): Russian forces have intensified shelling in cities located in the central, northern, and southern parts of Ukraine. A Ukrainian official gave this information. The second attempt to rescue the civilians trapped there also failed due to this shelling. Ukraine’s leader has urged his people to take to the streets to fight.
At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia’s attacks can be stopped “only when Kyiv ends hostilities.” Adviser to the president, Oleksiy Erestovich, said the shelling was carried out on the outskirts of Kyiv, Chernihiv in the north, Mykolaiv in the south, and Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city, late on Sunday.

According to local officials, artillery shells were fired in residential areas of Kharkiv and a television tower was also damaged in the shelling.
