New Delhi: According to another big news, Britain’s Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss is coming on a one-day visit to India today i.e. on Thursday, March 31. In the same sequence, Truss will also meet External Affairs Minister Dr.S Jaishankar at 5 pm in New Delhi today. During this, there can be an in-depth and necessary discussion on international issues of bilateral, regional, and mutual interest between the two countries.
During her visit, she will underline the importance of democratic countries working together to stop Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. At the same time, in relation to Truss’s visit to India, the British High Commission gave this information while issuing a statement. “Foreign Minister Lis Truss is in India today as part of a broader diplomatic effort following Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine last month,” the statement said.
