Colorado City (US): Two people were killed in a helicopter crash in a field in the western part of the US state of Texas. Officials gave this information. Sheriff Patrick Toombs of Mitchell County reported Friday night that a helicopter crashed eight miles southwest of Colorado City on Thursday.
Toombs reported that pilot Jane Whitesides (31) and passenger Jack Feufer (32) died in the crash. Both were from Colorado City. The Federal Aviation Administration stated that the helicopter was a ‘Robinson R44’. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the case.
