London: Public Health England (PHE), the executive unit of the Health Department of the UK, in its first ‘monitoring data’ found that the Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccine in preventing symptoms of Covid-19. Oxford / AstraZeneca Vaccine Two doses are 85–90 percent effective. The health unit has cited ‘monitoring data’ for the first time in place of ‘experimental data’ to detect vaccine potential.
PHE said, “New assessments adopted for the first time have shown that two doses of the Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccine provide 85 to 90 percent protection against symptomatic disease.” Oxford / Estrogena’s anti-kovid vaccine is also being produced by the Serum Institute of India and the vaccine is being used as a ‘covishield’ for epidemic prevention in India.
Britain’s Minister for Vaccine Affairs Nadhim Zahavi said, “This new figure underscores the great impact of both doses of the vaccine and the second dose of the Oxford / Estrogen vaccine is providing up to 90 percent protection.”
