
New Delhi: The government will hand over its aviation company Air India to Tata’s hands today. The Tata Group has made all the preparations for the Istqbal of Air India. The Tata Group will make a new beginning by introducing “enhanced meal service” on four Air India flights operating from Mumbai. However, Air India flights will not fly under the Tata group banner from Thursday. Because on this day the process of transfer of the company will be completed.
According to the news agency PTI, the Indian government can hand over Air India to the Tata Group on Thursday. And thus Air India will return to the Tata group after almost 69 years. But Tata Group is starting its service in Air India from today itself. For this, advanced meal service is being started on select flights. The enhanced meal service will be provided on Thursday in four flights – AI864 (Mumbai-Delhi), AI687 (Mumbai-Delhi), AI945 (Mumbai-Abu Dhabi), and AI639 (Mumbai-Bengaluru). The ‘Advanced Meal Service’ designed by Tata Group executives will be gradually expanded to more flights.

Let us tell you that the loss-making state-run airline Air India was bought by the Tata Group at a bid of Rs 18000 crore. On October 8, Air India was sold to Tales Pvt Ltd for Rs 18,000 crore. It is a part of the holding company of the Tata Group.
Tata Group’s plan for Air India
The Tata Group has prepared several future plans to bring back the loss-making Air India on track. One of these is onetime performance. That is, the doors of the aircraft will be closed 10 minutes before the flight time. Full focus will be on the timely flight of the planes. Apart from this, the service provided to the passengers will also be increased.
