Ujjain: This time due to coronavirus, the ride route was shortened. However, the grandeur of this ride remained the same as the royal ride of every year. Red carpets were laid on the ride route and fireworks were set up along the way. Today, BJP leader Uma Bharti along with Jyotiraditya Scindia also participated in the ride.
Today’s royal ride of Mahakal started leaving at 4 pm. Jyotiraditya Scindia joined Ramghat in traditional worship on behalf of the Scindia family. Scindia reached the Shipra River and worshiped the ride, along with Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel and Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav. There is a complete ban on the participation of common devotees in the ride due to Corona infection. The administration has launched the Mahakaleshwar app for live viewing of the ride.

Baba Mahakal goes on a city tour with full splendor and grandeur. The ride route remained the same. The temple committee and administration had made vigorous preparations for the ride. Artistic, cultural and ancient forms of the whole way were memorable memories of philosophy. The plush carpets, flowers with rangoli, colorful flag, colorful fireworks symbolized Lord Shree Bholenath’s symbols trishul, conch, damru along the way. Traditional rides included artillery, salute guards, cavalry, police bands, drums, shehnai, priests.

All traditional masks were placed on the chariot along with the Chandramouleshwar form and Manmahesh form of Lord Shri Mahakal. Mahakal was worshiped and worshiped at the holy Kshipra ghat.
