New Delhi: After China closed 59 apps, the question was arising whether such apps could be developed in India. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) also launched the self-reliant India Innovation Challenge for this. Meanwhile, the country’s first social media app Elements (Elyments) was launched today. Launching the elements, Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu appealed to all citizens to join the self-reliant India campaign and help to transform Local India into Global India. With the hard work of more than one thousand IT professionals, this app will be available in more than eight Indian languages.

Chatting, audio-video calls as well as e-commerce facility
Indigenous app elements can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Stores across the world. Before launching, this app has been tested among people for several months. The app has more than 2 lakh downloads. In this, the data of users will be kept safe in the country. The app features a private platform, audio-video conference call, secure payment via elements pay and a commerce platform to promote Indian brands. With its help, users can connect with the whole world and can buy local products, i.e. this app will also provide e-commerce facilities.

Regional voice command feature will be added soon in the app
There will also be some public profiles on the app, which users will be able to follow or subscribe. Later in the app, the feature of Regional Voice Command will also be included. In the app, features like end-to-end encryption have been provided to keep the data of the users safe. The government has appealed to Indian companies to focus on making native apps so that the domestic app space can be strengthened. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the Digital India Self-reliant Innovation Challenge (AatmaNirbhar Bharat Innovation Challenge). Its purpose is to promote apps made in India.

Center has started the challenge, the winner will get 20 lakh rupees
NITI Aayog has launched Digital India Self-Reliant India Innovative Challenge under the partnership of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Atal Innovation Mission. Under this, you will have to create mobile games, social media and photo-video editing apps. Under this challenge, you will get a maximum reward of up to 20 lakh rupees. ‘Make in India, for India and the world’
